D.A.V. SCHOOL, PALLIKARANAI is the newest branch of the D.A.V. Group Chennai which was founded in 1970 at Gopalapuram.
The school was inaugurated on 27th May, 2022 by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M.K. Stalin. Hon’ble Minister for School Education of Tamil Nadu – Thiru Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu – Thiru Ma.Subramanian were also present on the occasion.

S. Kanakalakshmi, M.Sc., B.Ed. is an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher who has over 20 years of experience in teaching. She is a rank-holder from the University of Madras at the graduate level. She started her teaching career in 1999 and has been with D.A.V. Girls Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram since 2002.
She is a warm and caring teacher committed to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to students.
Mrs. Bina has graduated in B.A. English Literature from Bharathiar University and has also completed Montessori, Kindergarten and Nursery teacher training programme in Chennai.
She has 15 years of teaching experience with the Nursery children in reputed schools in Ooty and in Chennai. She also worked in a CDC centre in California. She is currently serving as Headmistress of D.A.V. Nursery school, Gopalapuram
